At Mosquito Squad of Greater Indy, we strive to be actively involved in our communities. We team up with nonprofits and other organizations to help leave a positive effect in our communities and in the world. Whether it is providing food and shelter to those in or need, or organizing youth sports leagues, we get involved and help out however we can!
Malaria No More is an organization that envisions a world where no child dies from a mosquito bite. Malaria No More uses innovative partnerships and focused advocacy to elevate malaria on the global health agenda, create political will, and mobilize the global resources required to achieve malaria eradication within a generation.
Why Not Today, was created in August 2012. Why Not Today was created in memory of Mathew Draftina, a farmer in Pennsylvania, the grandfather of founder Ben Neureiter. This organization carries on the values that he possessed of hard work, faith, and family to help those in need. The goal is to honor his memory by working the land as he did for many years.
Why Not Today raises cattle and chickens on our farm. They donate beef and eggs to those in need to the Hendricks County Food Coalition, Project Homeless Indy, and other Central Indiana food pantries. Why Not Today also donates produce, grown in their own gardens and orchards. This organization also supports Healthy Families of Hendricks County during the holiday season by providing clothes, toys, and food gift cards. They sponsor children in 5 countries to meet their food, shelter, clothing, medical, and educational needs through Unbound.
The Carmel Dads’ Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality sports programs to the youth of Carmel and Clay Townships. The goals have remained consistent for over 50 years — They strive to offer a supportive atmosphere where young athletes have fun while gaining self-confidence and learning the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership.
The many programs offered through the CDC range from football to basketball, soccer to baseball, lacrosse to volleyball and more! Programs are offered for a variety of age levels from PreK to High School. All skill levels are welcome from the beginner player to the competitive travel team athlete.
The club’s programs are supported through invaluable volunteers who give their time and care to each individual program. Volunteers consists of coaches, commissioners, concession workers and more; all of whom provide important services to the Carmel Dads’ Club. The CDC could not be the organization it is today without all the individuals and families who give their time, knowledge, and support to it.
Operation: Job Ready Veterans™ (OJRV) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preparing service members, veterans, military spouses and caregivers for successful employment by connecting them with employers that seek top quality, well-trained employees. OJRV makes a personal connection and assists veterans of all eras and ability levels with their employment and career goals.
Compassion International is a child-advocacy ministry that pairs compassionate people with those who are suffering from poverty. The ministry releases children from spiritual, economic, social, and physical poverty. The goal is for each child to become a responsible and fulfilled adult.
Compassion’s work has grown from modest beginnings in South Korea in 1952 when American evangelist Rev. Everett Swanson felt compelled to help 35 children orphaned by the Korean conflict. Today it is a worldwide ministry where millions of children are now reaping the benefits of one man’s clear, God-given vision.
